Last week saw the practical completion of Timber Square, our pioneering mixed-use redevelopment for Landsec in the heart of Southwark, providing c.365,000 sq ft NIA of offices plus retail and leisure uses.

The scheme retains 80% of the existing 1950s industrial concrete frame, extended to create the 10-storey Print Building, sitting adjacent to the newly constructed Ink Building, standing at 14 storeys in hybrid CLT and steel - the largest CLT structure by volume in the UK. The results are testament to what can be accomplished when challenging the boundaries of sustainable design, allied to fantastic team spirit and a collective endeavour to deliver.

Our involvement in this project started in 2018, supporting site acquisition, and we have led the team at every step of the journey since, alongside our project partners Landsec, Mace, The Erith Group, Bennetts Associates, Heyne Tillett Steel, Hoare Lea, Turner & Townsend alinea.

Congratulations to all involved on such a successful project!
